ERP on the Web

November 28th, 2002 · No Comments

From Line56.com:

Collaborative commerce specialist Fullscope has released its WiseXE product suite, a Web-based platform which aims to extend ERP functionality to trading partners and customers for collaborative sharing of transactional information.

Access to information contained in ERP systems is equally important inside the firewall at the line-of-business and departmental levels, and Fullscope is marketing WiseXE as an easier order entry option for all parties.

Making quotes, orders, invoices, pricing and statement visible on the Web involves what Fullscope calls “thin e-commerce” technology.

The WiseXE suite is made up of three elements: WiseVIEW, a portal connecting to the back office to access information such as order status; WiseB2B, pre-bundled processes that enable B2B transactions including sales, catalog, order entry and inventory management; and the WiseAPP Framework, a development environment with tools to create and customize applications tied to back-office systems.
