During my US visit recently, I picked up a board game, Qwirkle. It showed up on Amazon as one of the top selling board games.
I played it with Abhishek and my sister’s kids (all three in the 6-9 years bracket). It was a hit. Simple rules that are wery easy to learn, and enthralling enough that the kids wanted to play again and again.
Highly recommended!
Any other board game recos from you all?

I like ‘ticket to ride’ – strategic, but also improves geographical knowledge.

Othello is an awesome board game. Only for 2 players though.

My all time favourite are Monopoly (gives a fantastic business and financial sense) and Risk. I have a heard a lot about Rich Dad Cashflow by Robert Kiyosaki which I soon want to order.
