Goa

Yesterday, we had a Friends of BJP event in Goa. It was my first visit to Goa. I am not much of a beach person, and non-work-linked vacations are somewhat of a rarity.  That is perhaps why I have never ended up visiting Goa. The one positive outcome of this ‘political internship’ during this election season is that I am getting to visit many Indian cities for the first time!

I didn’t get to see anything much in Goa, though! The drive from the airport to Panjim reminded me of Phuket. The event was very well attended, with over 1200 people. I gave an inspired 10-minute talk, albeit with a somewhat sore throat.  Here is a photo of the event with me in the left corner (sourced from Navhind Times, taken by Nandesh Kambli).
